Perforated Ramrolls for

reduction in final bagasse moisture.... 45.5 %

Most important issue is to reduce bagasse moisture to minimal amount and reap all the associated benefits of better milling and boiler efficiency. Steam lost time will be minimised as bagasse boilers will maintain steam pressure much better because of improved boiler efficiency.
Reducing Final Bagasse Moisture down to 45.5% is the most effective option for spending a small sum with fantastic ROI. Put a spoonfull where a spoonfull is required...not a shovelfull.

Actual video of perforated mill rolls reducing final bagasse moisture down to 45.5% on many instances prior to improvement of Ramroll design.. Final bagasse crop average obtained 47.01%.

With improvement of Ramroll design, we expect a crop average of 45.5% final bagasse moisture.

Benefits:

  • Additional drainage of juice through flange holes and axial juice channels.

  • Elimination of flange bolt breakages as hydraulic loading on flange is significantly reduced.

  • Tremendously Improved Steam Reliability......reduced/eliminated low steam loss time.

  • Improved Pol Extraction....more sugar in bag

  • Improved Boiler Efficiency....elimination of all costs for supplemental fuel and power possible.

  • Increase in crush rate by 10-15% with use of Perforated Ramrolls.

  • Ramroll Perforated Mill Roll design eliminates reverse flow of juice onto the bagasse mat.
